Special ceremony honors local veterans on 9/11

CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A the U.S. marked the 16th anniversary of the worst terror attack in our country's history, Crossroads Hospice in Centerville took time to honor veterans.
The home put on a day of remembrance veterans and their families as well as first responders.
One of the veterans honored was Jim Hill, who served in the Korean War, "it's just an honor to have served," he said.
A public education specialist from the Washington Township Fire Department spoke during the ceremony about how important it is to remember 9/11 and the heroics of the first responders and law enforcement.
