Annie shows off her tricks with her owner Dewayne Hart for resident Nancy Sigler, Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care patient who has been a dog lover her entire life. In fact, she's had one of her own ever since she was a little girl. On Saturday morning, Sigler got to relive some treasured moments during a "Dog Day Afternoon" parade of pooches -- part of a "Gift of a Day" event sponsored by Crossroads Hospice. The event included 12 to 14 pups, parading with their volunteer handlers for the enjoyment of Sigler, her fellow patients and staff at Westview Healthy Living, as well as about a dozen members of Sigler's family.
