Honoring a Veteran Family

The Crossroads Veteran’s Recognition Program is designed to acknowledge and recognize our veteran patients.

Recently, we had the privilege of caring for Navy veteran Frank Bahr who served in the Korean War. His Crossroads team wanted to make his Veteran’s Recognition ceremony extra special for him, so they put together a party where his whole family could celebrate his service.

He was presented with a certificate of appreciation, a medal of honor and aveteran’s cap. In addition, photos of Frank’s life were organized into a collage for him and his family to enjoy.

His daughter Karen, a retired Major from the Army herself, attended in full uniform. Both she and Frank’s son-in-law Larry were also honored for their service during the ceremony.
