Crossroads Hospice considers it a privilege to serve our patients and their families. The cards and letters we receive always warm our hearts. We share this one with permission from the authors.

Dear Crossroads Hospice “Servants”,

Bob and I would like to acknowledge the work of your hands, and hearts on behalf of Harvey and Norma, and convey our thanks. In our eyes, their conditions were frankly overwhelming. However, in the context of your everyday jobs, you all carry identical and certainly greater challenges. Yet, you joined us in caring for Harvey, for Norma, and for us (no small task!), in the hourly and daily burdens of caregiving…technical, practical, intimate, spiritual, emotional…

God, her Good Shepherd, provided for them, one step at a time. We see clearly your part in His care and mercy, for our whole family.

In honor of Norma’s birthday today we would like to specifically thank, Allan, Josh, Stephanie, Kristy, Levi, Beth and the Crossroads south team (Belton) Tamara, and our bath aides!! Sally King and all those who came on weekend shifts or after hours- of whom there were many!

Destiny, Mark (NP). You each carried heavy loads, challenging loads. We realize we were part of the weight.
